Use listening as a focused exercise
Listening becomes more useful when you know what you are listening for. Choose one word or transition instead of trying to assess every feature at once.
Understand the idea
Open Quran 113. Hear a verse, follow it on screen, and read it after the recording stops. If you cannot tell what differs, turn that uncertainty into a teacher question. Repeating a recording is practice, but it is not an independent assessment of your articulation.
