Arrive ready to learn.
1. Confirm your lesson
Check the date, time and teacher in your student portal. Times display in your device’s time zone. A trial request must show Confirmed before it becomes a scheduled classroom.
Check trial requests →2. Open the private Zoom link
Your teacher schedules the meeting in Zoom and adds its invitation link inside the classroom. Open that link near your lesson time. Zoom may launch its app or offer browser joining, depending on the host’s settings. Wait for your teacher to admit you if a waiting room appears.
Zoom’s joining guide ↗3. Prepare your space
Use a quiet place, check camera and microphone permissions, and keep your reading material nearby. For a child, a parent or guardian should approve the teacher and supervise the lesson. Agree on any recording before it begins.
4. Keep learning after the call
Read shared lesson notes, submit a private practice update, and check your teacher’s feedback. The classroom conversation is visible to the lesson group; practice updates are visible only to that student and the teacher.
If your connection fails
Try reopening the meeting link or using the Zoom app. Turn off video if bandwidth is limited. Use the saved classroom conversation to let the teacher know, or contact the academy through WhatsApp. Clicking the meeting link records that it was opened; it does not verify attendance or time spent in Zoom.
Contact the academy →For teachers
Schedule the meeting in your own Zoom account. Enable a passcode and waiting room, then paste the invitation link into the lesson. Only participants with academy classroom access can retrieve it there; recipients can still forward a link, so manage admission in Zoom. Automatic Zoom meeting creation, recordings and attendance reports are not connected.
