Can I start as a complete beginner?
Yes. Begin with the Arabic reading resources or look for a teacher whose profile describes beginner instruction. Tell the teacher what you can already read and what you want help with when requesting a lesson.
Can I explore without creating an account?
The Quran reader and public self-study resources are available without signing in. Create a student account when you want to request a teacher’s time, join a classroom or receive private practice feedback.
How much do lessons cost?
The academy standard rate is US$5/hour, with sibling discounts, free lessons for recent converts and reduced fees for learners who cannot afford the standard rate. A free 30- or 60-minute trial is available by arrangement. Confirm payment details with the academy before paying. See Lesson fees for full arrangements.
Is my booking confirmed immediately?
No. Your request stays pending until the teacher accepts it. After acceptance, the lesson appears in your student schedule. Check the status in My bookings before preparing to attend.
How do I choose a teaching language?
Review the languages on each teacher’s profile and confirm that the teacher can explain the subject in your preferred language. Website language options and individual teacher availability are separate.
Can my child learn here?
A parent or guardian should manage the account and lesson arrangements for a child. Discuss the child’s age, starting point and suitable lesson length with the teacher, and remain involved in their learning.
Are all teacher qualifications independently verified?
Teacher profiles distinguish self-reported information from academy review. Read the individual profile and ask about the qualifications relevant to your learning goals. Creating an account does not verify a teacher’s credentials.
What if I need to change a lesson?
Give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel a lesson. Booking requests can be cancelled in your student portal. Coordinate any replacement time directly with your teacher or the academy and wait for confirmation.
