STUDY GUIDE
Architecture & place
Buildings can be studied through their spaces, materials and changing uses. A photograph is one view at one time; it does not establish every detail of a building’s history.
Your study session
- Examine the courtyard photograph in the heritage collection.
- Describe circulation, shade and the relationship between open and covered space.
- Record the photographer and source before reusing the image.
