Recitation & listening

Listening helps a student notice rhythm and pronunciation, but a recording cannot assess the student’s own articulation. Combine a short listening passage with teacher feedback and an achievable repetition plan.

Your study session

1. Choose three consecutive verses and listen before reading aloud.
2. Mark one word you cannot yet articulate confidently.
3. Ask your teacher to check it before repeating the same mistake in a longer passage.

Use the activity to prepare one specific question. Keep the source reference attached to any quotation, distinguish your observations from the author’s claims, and agree on a next step with your teacher.
