Read before and after a quotation
A short quotation has a place in a larger passage. Read its neighbours before deciding what point you want to take from it.
Understand the idea
Open 94:6, then read the whole surah. Note the repeated wording and the sequence that surrounds it. Your first task is observation: what appears in the text? A further question about interpretation should lead to a named explanation rather than an unsupported conclusion.
Reference → neighbouring verses → whole passage → question
Put it into practice
Write one observation you can point to in the text and one question that requires further explanation.
