Distinguish a noun, verb and particle
Traditional Arabic study groups words broadly into nominals, verbs and particles. A label helps you ask what a word contributes to a sentence.
Understand the idea
Use these classroom examples: كِتَاب names a book, كَتَبَ expresses wrote, and فِي supplies a relationship such as in. Classification is a tool for reading; an English translation alone may hide the structure of the Arabic.
كِتَاب · كَتَبَ · فِي
Put it into practice
Create three columns and place each example in its column. Add one teacher-checked example to each.
