Notice a consonant without a vowel
Sukun marks a consonant without a following short vowel. Practise reading it as part of a word rather than adding an extra vowel.
Understand the idea
In مِنْ, the noon ends the syllable without a new short vowel after it. Do not turn the written word into two fully vowelled syllables. Compare a teacher’s model with your own reading and record the specific difference you hear.
