STUDY GUIDE
Reading together
A family reading session can be short, voluntary and age appropriate. Let each participant ask a question or make an observation. Adults should be clear when they need to consult a teacher rather than improvise an answer.
Your study session
- Choose a small passage suitable for the participants.
- Give each person time to listen and respond.
- End with one question to explore together next time.
Reading and resources
Bring your learning to the classroom
Use the activity to prepare one specific question. Keep the source reference attached to any quotation, distinguish your observations from the author’s claims, and agree on a next step with your teacher.
