A family reading session can be short, voluntary and age appropriate. Let each participant ask a question or make an observation. Adults should be clear when they need to consult a teacher rather than improvise an answer.

Your study session

1. Choose a small passage suitable for the participants.
2. Give each person time to listen and respond.
3. End with one question to explore together next time.
